As the world emerges from the shadows of the COVID-19 pandemic, a new challenge looms large: the silent and pervasive epidemic of mental health disorders.

The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that 1 in 8 individuals worldwide deal with mental health conditions. According to a study conducted by Havas Ortega surveying Filipino Prosumers (“consumers from 15 to 20% of the population at the forefront of emerging trends, behaviors, beliefs, and attitudes”), 41% of respondents admit to being grappling with mental health issues.

This number skyrockets to 73% among Gen Z respondents, indicating that they are more likely to experience mental health conditions than the average Filipino.
